Memorial Day
On Memorial Day, beneath the picnics, sales, and long weekend plans we have to remember the focus is remembrance. Take time to slow down and honor the lives of those who gave everything so that we might live freely.
A. commemoration of sacrifice. Of mothers who kissed their children goodbye. Of fathers who never got to walk their daughters down the aisle. Of sons and daughters who traded their dreams for duty. Memorial Day is not just about flags on gravestones; it’s about the names behind them—their stories, their families, and the futures they never got to see. It is a day for gratitude, but also for grief.
Let’s remember that someone’s bravery, made it possible for us to chase our dreams, speak our truths, and build our lives in peace.
If you have lost someone in service, I hope you feel surrounded by the honor your loved one deserves—not just today, but every day. Their courage is woven into the fabric of this nation, and their light continues to shine in ways we may never fully understand.
Let us honor them not just with words, but with the way we live—with kindness, with purpose, with the courage to stand up for what is right.
So today, we remember.
We reflect.
We give thanks.
Forever remembered. Deeply honored.
With love and reverence,
